Episode 82 – Is There A Difference Between A Bluetooth Jerk and A Glasshole?

It’s an all new That Real Blind Tech Show as the gang is back together in their still socially distant lairs of choice. We start off again with a little peek behind the curtains to our discussion before we actually hit record. Ok, so record had obviously already been hit, but we speak freely until we actually kick off the show.

Once we get rock and rolling, we start off discussing Global Password Day. Who even knew this was a thing? So for the big day, we discuss our latest methods of managing all those messy passwords. In honor of Global Password Day, Apple, Microsoft, and Google have come together looking to get rid of passwords! And to do so they will be using Fido.

CNN Plus Sleeps with the fishes! We didn’t even get to talk about the launch. And is Netflix adding ads?

At least as of June 1st on this show we will have some competition for the name the S Lady.

Apple has announced they will be lowering trade in prices on all devices not named iPhone. Since we have the queen of returns on our show, we thought we would get Allison’s expert advice on how she maximizes value on all those returns.

VoiceDream Reader has come to the Mac, but why would someone need or want it?

Some users are having a weird iOS bug where Apple Music is replacing other music providers in their dock. Conspiracy theorists are out in the millions!

With Edge recently passing Safari as the second most used desktop browser, we thought we would visit our go to browsers of choice.

We discuss the recent article about best wireless headphones in 2022.

The conversation then moves to the word Transitioning and why is this word used so predominantly in the blindness community. One of us has a big issue with it. Bet you can guess which one of us does!

Next we discuss our favorite items from the recent article top ten cellphone myths.

We then go over a couple of emails from Dan and Mary regarding a blunder that happened with the release of an episode a few weeks ago.

Finally, it’s a classic story from Brian, and more of What’s Pissing Off Brian Now, and Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.
