Episode 166 It’s Like A Dog’s Ass and It’s Not Music I would Ever Listen To!

In honor of the New York City Marathon, it’s  a marathon  all new That Real Blind Tech show episode. Since Ed was out of town yet again, filling in is David Goldstein, along with Allison, Brian, and Jeanine.

We kick the show off acknowledging a very special one year anniversary. Then we dive in to recapping this year’s amazing Laugh For Sight which was held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.

It is then on to the story everyone will be talking about as scientists have discovered that animals are getting just as sloshed as humans.

Next we discuss the disturbing trend of people applying for ghost jobs.

A Russian court has hit Google with a whopper of a fine.

We then get to A.I. Corner and start off discussing Open A.I.’s search engine which is now live for paid subscribers. Claude now has a desktop app. Google Maps is getting an A.I. infusion and you will be able to ask it questions about restaurants and get A.I. created results. We then talk about the massive update that just came to seeing A.I. and now being able to get short video descriptions. We dream about what these descriptions for video could eventually be, and David tells us about his awesome Seeing A.I. shortcuts that Brian has stolen and made his own.

We then move on to discussing our experiences with iOS 18.1 and 18.2. Here are 10 new non-A.I. things you will be able to do in iOS 18.2. We discuss the new category feature coming to mail in iOS 18.2. Next we discuss Apple Visual Intelligence and ChatGPT with Siri.

Apple announced all new M4 Mac mini, iMac, and Mac Book Pros. The Mac mini chose an odd place for the power button which has the internet cracking up.

And then it is the show interruption to end all show interruptions. You will have to hear it to believe it.

And yeah, we went a little long on this show, but we finally get to Allison and Jeanine’s  experience testing out the glide device.

We get really sidetracked again, but it’s worth the listen, and we fairly get to David’s experience at the Governor’s Mansion.

And it’s more of Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading
